Tender Management Analyst (West / UP to $7000 / Freight / Logistics)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for leading and coordinating RFQs / RFIs on medium to global accounts.
  2. Act as Project Manager of the assigned tender, facilitate and streamline the communication / process flow among different groups and functions within the organization: -
  3. Coordinate with Global Account Managers / Directors / Vice Presidents in formulating strategies for RFQ, and conducting pre- and post-opportunity analysis
  4. Liaise with Air and Ocean Product groups in defining the optimal solution (in terms of routing / capacity / consolidation mix), and derive the best pricing approach for each target account and key tender
  5. Liaise with other Regional Tender Management units and country management teams in creating market-competitive price proposals for global and regional tenders
  6. Work closely with stakeholders in reviewing terms and conditions of regional and global tenders
  7. Interface with subject matter experts in IT, Legal, Procurements, Account Management, Vertical Industries and Trade Lane Development in creating and delivering compelling customer driven services and solutions.
  8. Create / maintain databases and pricing tariffs for internal reference
  9. Prepare monthly reports and analysis for internal divisions
  10. Analyze rates for global to regional RFQs
  11. Updating global rates databases
  12. Maintain a win/loss log for all quotes and tenders globally
  13. Ensure tender post mortem is completed by business owner for lost accounts/ bids to determine reasons
  14. and determine change of action for future bids.
  15. Analyze tender results to determine trends which could increase win ratio for the company.
  16. Participate in customer meetings for large RFQ tenders as required.
  17. Provide training to regional TM/ sales support/ business owners on required TM processes.
  18. Communication of RFQ Pipeline and activity level on a regular basis
  19. Ensure smooth transition to Implementation team upon business award and assist on SOP setup specifically on rate aspect 


  1. At least 2 years of Tender Management/Freight Forwarding related experience
  2. Industry experience in the freight forwarding environment (minimum two years)
  3. Relevant quoting/ pricing experience in freight forwarding
  4. Business administration / proposal writing
  5. Functional experience in air/ sea/ logistics / customs brokerage
  6. Up to $7000
