Assistant IT Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Enhance global IT Communication Efficiency

·         Function as the point of contact for IT between specified overseas companies and RHQ

·         Participating in global/regional IT meeting to provide updates to IT projects and activities.

Achieve Office365 effectiveness in the organization

·         Provide support to users on effective usage of Office365 to promote work process efficiency.

·         Coordinate deployment of Office365 set-up to newly acquired or established companies

·         Provide O365 enhancement and support operation to end users by promoting and delivering training where required.

Support RHQ in strengthening IT Governance

·         Assist in development of standard IT policies, procedures and guidelines for deployment to specified overseas companies (e.g. IT asset management, architecture, security and disaster recovery etc.)

·         IT cost management: Consolidate and analyse IT investment and expense details

Support specified overseas companies

·         Support local IT enhancements in overseas companies, provide input on system proposal and evaluations

·         Support implementation of specified global IT systems in overseas companies, especially in terms of infrastructure

Responsibilities within Singapore company

·         To develop and implement the company’s IT mid-term strategies and action plans to be aligned with business plans.

·         Evaluate and deliver IT solutions to meet business needs for the company and manage and support systems improvements.

·         Plan and monitor the company’s IT investments and expenses for business expansion

·         Deploy guidelines and information security policies, conduct training for staff to improve information security awareness in the company

·         Maintain IT infrastructure, systems and services, including network and server hardware and software applications for the company.

Supervisory Responsibilities

·         The IT Manager will also be responsible to lead and manage all IT outsource within the company.

·         Any other duties that are assigned within the course of work

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related technical fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in regional IT implementation/service/project management, especially in process improvement, infrastructure and applications management, cost and vendor management, and partnership with business leaders
  • Excellent knowledge in implementing Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Server Platforms; Microsoft Windows 10), Office365, network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), and server management
  • Good knowledge of applications systems (e.g. CRM, logistics, accounting systems)
  • Good understanding of IT practices and regulatory compliance in Asia Pacific
  • Knowledge in IT security management and incidence management
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing or Machinery Industry will be an added advantage
